On 3rd April 2022 Siemens Workers Union Organised Inter Unit Cricket matches – “SWU Solidarity Tournament” – “UDAY CUP” at Golf Club Ground in Nashik.
Members from Different locations and units of siemens workers union participated in this tournament. Teams from WSGR, WSWB, WMOT, PRIMETALS, TRANSFORMERS, NASHIK, GOA & AURANGABAD participated in this Tounament.
Nashik Factory’s Works Manager Mr. Deepak Kulkarni was present to inaugurate the Tournament and cheer up the participants.
The initial matches were played in knockout system and the final was played between PRIMETALS & GOA Unit Teams.
PRIMETALS Team Won the FINAL TROPHY and GOA was awarded the RUNNER -UP Trophy. There were Individual Trophies for Man of the Series, man of the Matches, Best batsman, Best Bowler, Best fielder.
Around 350 members were present to witness the “UDAY CUP” Tournament. All the members were happy to meet members from other locations and share their thoughts and experiences and cheer for each other and Served the purpose of the event.
