As an event of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration on 6th August 2023, Siemens Workers union Nashik Branch Organised Tree Plantation in Ambai Village – Trimbakeshwar near Nashik
Around 100 trees were planted by members and their families together a group of 150 volunteers actively participated in this event. Before leaving the surrounding was cleaned of any plastic bags or other waste which would harm the environment.
The Sarpanch of the village gave his full support during the organizing of this event. “The event was organised in a very disciplined manner” were the words of the Sarpanch of Ambai village. He congratulated SWU on its initiative for a greener environment and he also promised the team that the villagers will take good care of the trees planted.
